water leak (i think)

drove the car to the petrol station today and noticed a little puddle under the car towards the back of the engine, im pretty sure its not coolant because it tastes and looks totally plain, we've had a lot of rain lately and now its dry and red hot and at first i thought maybe water had gathered on top of the under-tray and when i drove it again its began to run off, but now im thinking maybe leaking from the AC?

Did you have the air con on? If so you have nothing to worry about, it will just be condensation.

Thanks for the replies, since I posted i've been to a local garage that specialises in radiators and air conditioning and they basically told me out was condensation, just couldent believe how much there was and have never had it before.I'm happy with that though

I drove over cowshit last week. Tasted it to make sure it wasnt tar.

In a word.....no! though I guess if BoroGTI knows what coolant tastes like it must be a regular tiple for him. If he can taste the difference between unleaded and superunleaded then we might have some real talent here! :lol:
