I never knew VW stuck the VR6 engine into these.

Looking back now to the early/mid 2000's, its mad to see what the likes of VW
was willing to finance and build, compared to now.

-Humble VW Golf V5 with the possibility of 2.3 Litre 5 cylinder or VR6 2.8 6 cylinder
-VW Phaeton, spent serious money to try and outdo the S-Class, massive fail.
-VW XL1, crazy hyper miler made from carbon fibre, surprised it left the motor show stand.
(Way ahead of its time though)
-Audi RS6 (C6), Who puts a bonkers 5 Litre V10 in an estate car!!
-Veyron...Mein Herr, will an 8 LItre 16 Cylinder Quad Turbo do you?
-VW Touareg, Just a 5 Litre V10 Tdi
-Audi SQ7, Know what this jacked up block of flats needs...a 6 Litre V12 Tdi
-R10 Le Mans Racer, How about sticking a 5.5 Litre V12 Tdi in your endurance racer
-And just to show it wasn't just purely reserved for very expensive cars, don't forget the VW Polo Gti
with the Super charged and Turbo charged 1.4 engine.

I'm probably forgetting a few others as well, from the no money limit, Piech era.
