I’ve just done a little scan in autotrader and spotted the 2 cars at £16k ish both similar mileage but night and day in terms of preparation. One lazily presented with dirty mats and water marks all over the place and the other nicely detailed. A suggestion for Paul Blaney Motors - send your vehicle prep team to Oakwood Car Sales for some lessons on vehicle preparation

I saw something somewhere about a Mk1 Focus RS going for near £70k.
If I remember correctly there was a Mk1 Focus RS with a few hundred miles on it so not surprising it might have sold for that amount.

The Subaru P1 was an absolute disgrace condition wise and sold after the sale for 29k - fantastic car in the day

I had a series one turbo I took there on a rolling road day, he was trying to sell chips to everyone by the graphs from a chipped one, I was tempted til it went Boom
on the dyno. I then took a series 2 turbo there on another rolling road day. I’d had it chipped at Collins Performance Engineering …..the bloke who became a woman some time afterwards.

Most of the Escort Cosworth‘s came from me too and the RS2000 4x4 - was getting them straight of the Ford Direct system for him.

Not many police cars better than that bare the Rs200 they hade in the 80s - I also remember the Sapphire Cosworth‘s with the dog cage in the back - no getting away from that dog
