Beautiful collection Ashton.
Love the earlier models, especially the Kermit, they’re so perfectly proportioned with the lug widths and crown guards. It’s just when you put one on next to a maxi case version, they rattle and feel cheap. (They’re anything but cheap)
You also get the Glidelock on the new subs too which I think should come on all the sports models now. Brilliant bit of kit.

yes I’ve had it from brand new. 10 yrs old this year. I’ve done about 1000 miles a year in it. I’ve not used it since 2019 but still like to roll it out the garage now and again. Probably the last car in my collection I would sell

Really kind thank you. Took a LONG time to get into a position to be able to get them both. The V12 is just magic, and yep a manual ?
An Exige is in my “garage” of cars I’d really like to have and a while back was looking at a powder blue S Sport. It would of meant selling the T which was a tough choice, I bought the 5GTT in the end and still have both.

I remember a way back on the forum you were looking at a R5, great choice. I had a R5 Gordini Atmo about 10 years ago now and absolutely kick myself I sold it. Almost impossible to replace now. In my top 3 car regrets along with the Trophy I sold ? but needs must at the time ..
My Exige is an S1 so it’s very raw. I love that about it, an S2 Exige S would be far more friendly and I doubt any less exciting.
Ive been trying to get my personal perfect 3 car garage and I’m a little stuck in that early 2000’s period. I think it was a rich vein of sports cars, and ones modern enough to use and be reliable so you can really enjoy them. fast enough to thrill but that can be fully exploited without actually doing crazy crazy speeds. The mid range across 40-80mph in Exige is so fast and car so competent it’s outrageous but your within yourself and the car on U.K. roads.
I wanted 3 cars which gave a totally immersive driving experience, really tactile to use. Had to be manual and NA engines, and give a total variety as driving experiences. And looking forward likely cars thats type won’t be made again, so enjoying them now while I can.
rear drive, manual, mid engine, lightweight, raw Sports/
rear drive, manual, front mid engine, big engine / big power GT/Sports
and HOPEFULLY
a front drive, manual, rich dynamically hot hatch.
then I’m done! I’ll be super grateful it’s been possible and enjoy them for as long as I can whether I can’t afford them, can’t get in/outOf them, or political correctness towards cars takes over…

Wait until the service bill comes through - rolex's aint cheap lol.... rather be stung with an engine change bill lol

Not sure I’d agree, rolex service recommendation is every 10 years if worn daily, is optional, and costs about £400-500.
Think engine change be more disruptive..but fair enough!
