Trophy Rear Boot Mech Solenoid Fail

Hi All,

I have two problems with the boot and it looks like they are a really common problem with trophy.
The rear boot mech solenoid has failed and is open to the public whenever i take it anywhere
also the tailgate gas struts are on there way out and only opens half way up. I am after the renault part numbers for these items if anyone knows them? Thanks

you will be wanting to use sgs engineering for the boot struts, Renault ones cost the earth.

When I first got mine it had failed but I took it out, gave it a clean and it's worked fine ever since (touch wood)

Hey,
I have just ordered a pair of boot struts from SGS and luckily my local renault dealer had a new solenoid lock in stock, two jobs to be sorted this saturday ready for the welsh weekender. :up:
