You did better than me then, I could never get through so gave up. Advert says FSH and is the cambelt due time-wise as that was apparently last changed at 68k miles and car's now on 88k? Do you know whether the lights and seats were upgrades?

Well I got through and was promised photos of a few bits the next day and I have heard nothing.....
Cambelt was done 4 and a half years,he has had it serviced every 2 years at a small garage but not a specialist etc. Never noticed the seats weren't number I looked and on the rear photo you can see a sticker for what number car it is think it was 119 when I checked on here it hadn't been updated in years so not sure.

I got through OK, going to view it in the morning, bloke owned it 4 years, not sure what the lot of work is it needs? The seat was in it when he bought it, MOT history shows mileage is correct, best thing to do with a car is go look yourself. For the mileage & if it has had belts done etc it is a steal if it does check out.

Looks like AD05 PNK to me. Was a nice car but obviously had some use since it last featured on here

Fair enough. To give the seller his dues, he did return my call Friday night and put my worries to rest. He reckoned the xenons were fitted at the factory and like you said Jaine, seats had been upgraded by a previous owner. I forgot to ask what number it was though (which we now know to be 119) as I had already set my heart on another. :grinning:

I really need to pull my finger out and get saving for one.

I was all set to sell my Sierra Cosworth to buy a Trophy....until everyone told me I was being silly. Still, I need one, so I'll have to get saving.

Enjoy your bargain Jaine :)

I think the price put people off & some thought it was either a wreck or con & it was actually neither so very good for me who actually went to view it straight away rather than speculating.

Keep your Cosworth, gorgeous beasts they are & holding their money. I only got this because it was £4000. I also have a Williams 2 & would never sell that for anything.

I am enjoying it so far thanks

You've just shown that if you're brace enough then there's bargains to be had.

I don't mind a minor Trophy project, so one of the "cheaper" ones will probably suit me fine in my circumstances.
