It is with a certain degree of sadness that, after three years of ownership, the time has come to sell my Clio Trophy. Firstly the key details:
• 62,000 miles (9,000 miles covered by myself)
• 12 months MOT with no advisories
• Full service history
• Two former owners
Trophy 218/500 is standard except for the Scorpion RS192 exhaust that was on the car when I took ownership and Brembo HC front discs with Ferodo pads which I installed in 2014.
The dampers are Sachs dampers but not the original ones as these were replaced in 2012 with the official Renaultsport Twingo R1 uprated rally spec versions. These are identical to the originals but have an additional aluminium scraper ring which provides further protection against dirt ingress.
The front tyres are Michelin PS3’s (4mm tread) and the rears are Dunlop Sportmaxx RT (4mm tread) all of which are 205/45/16.
The car has a full-service history with services being carried out by either Renault or Renault specialists. All major service items (cambelt changes, etc.) have been carried out at the required time and full details are available for review. The latest service has just been carried out (29/08/17) with oil, brake fluid & cabin & air filters all replaced. All lights (main, side & interior) are fully functional as well.
Body work is very good with just a few small marks and the 16-inch Turino alloys are immaculate having only recently been refurbished.
Interior is in great condition as well with only the smallest amount of wear on the bolster of the driver side Recaro.
Both keys are present along with the owner’s manual & service book, locking wheel nut and jack
I am looking for £8,750 and i am in no rush to sell.
I know I am preaching to the converted but in my history of car ownership this has stood out as one of the most funs drives I have ever had.
Any other questions please PM me.
