After a great deal of thought, Ive decided to sell my Trophy.
Details:
85k miles
Full service history (all except one service was by Renault or an RS specialist - [BTM])
Last 2: 73818 miles 18/01/14 @ BTM
81082 miles 21/11/14 @ A local repair centre
MOT due 21/10/15
Cambelt was done at 60k
It's had various things modified or replaced since birth, this thread from cliosport.net mentions a fair bit. I hope Sam doesnt mind me using it.
The owner before me, but after Sam, replaced the airbox (see pic), removed the cat and had her remapped.
I bought the car in October 2013 and have driven approx 13000 miles since. For my part: i have replaced the headlights with a clio plug and play xenon set (also side and main beams), replaced front brakes (Brembo HC discs and Ferodo DS2500 pads, clio standard calipers). Rear brakes were replaced last service (november) with a standard set. I had the catalytic converter put back on and had it remapped again.
Tyres, sparkplugs, injector leads, coil pack, alternator and battery have all been replaced within the last 5 months.
While ive owned the car its main purpose has been getting me from Lincoln to Durham and back twice a month. Lots of motorway miles - so the car has a few stone chips on the bonnet. Theres a small scuff on the rear right arch (pictured) and one of the rims scraped a kerb last year (also pictured). The rubber grip behind the the steering wheel on the right side is coming off slightly too. Apart from that she is in fine condition.
I appreciate this car might not appeal to the 'purists' (or even perfectionists), but it is still very much a Trophy. It is located on an RAF camp near Lincoln, but is in County Durham some weekends.
Yours for £5000. Optional free extras include; 4-point race harness, clio fit storm cover, the original headlights and the straight-through pipe that was on for a bit while decat.
