After a little help. I need to replace my top mounts and wondered is it worth staying with the standard ones or is there a better after market one? I had a lot of noise coming from the front and thought it was time to get the suspension rebuilt. Now it’s done feels loads better but the noise is still there so looking at top mounts. Any help would be great thanks.

Sorry for the late reply, life is so busy at the minute.
Money is a problem just don’t really want to drill new holes to fit them, or is that only the case when you want to apply the strut brace. Thanks

Pms ones require drilling even for just the top mounts. You really have to decide if you want the brace at this stage as if you don’t drill the holes in the right places for the brace. You won’t be able to retrospectively fit it. Unless you redrill either the car or the brace mounting points.

Are the top mounts the same as a non Trophy?
Part number, 543A09780R.
Is it deemed essential to replace top mounts and bearings when removing and refitting struts?
From experience the bearings always fall to bits if they have been fitted for any amount of time.
Many thanks, Danny.
