Hi all
I am looking for a pair of new original top mounts and bearings. Tried my local dealer but they are closed for a few weeks.
Anyone have a pair for sale
Thanks

You could try the chaps at Renault Parts Direct, they’ve always been extremely helpful in the past.

Also I believe RPD are still out of stock (which at the moment may be ongoing for a while yet) The thrust bearing will come as part of the mount.

Autodoc sell this kit, which is the new design 543A09780R, including the modified spacer nut, 8200867250, all for £15, which is less than the price of the nut from Renault.

Repair Kit, suspension strut SNR KB655.07 — Buy now! (autodoc.co.uk)

If you order, don`t be suprised if their tech bods inform you that this will not fit your car, as they have assigned 543A09780R to the original top mounts with the 17mm half nut, and have peppered this listing with every Clio / Kangoo top mount component part No under the sun, though not the correct No`s.

I've just fitted the genuine top mount kit to both sides from RPD with the modified nut spacer that wasn't on my old shocks.
I must say it drives alot better and no knocking now

I would stretch to the OEM parts.

I posted this elsewhere, but Febi Bilstein ARB rubber bushes on #167 had cracked extensively (and very brittle) due to UV damage after fewer than 5,000 miles.

1000019760.jpgI shower them to a Technical Specialist at work (he literally has a doctorate in rubber!) as well as several colleagues. They were less than impressed by the Febi parts.

Febi's supplier had clearly neglected to add UV stabilising compounds. What else has they missed...

Proper kits from Renault are about £40-50 a side for top mounts.

Thanks for the input, RPD do indeed list the kit here- https://renaultpartsdirect.co.uk/parts/steering-suspension/543a09780r/

However, they list the spacer nut separately at an absolutely farcical price of £22- https://renaultpartsdirect.co.uk/pa...o-twingo-shock-absorber-top-mount-spacer-nut/

Are these available anywhere else that doesn't take the piss? Does this render the original spacer and nut in the below photo redundant? If anyone has a proper assembly diagram it would be much appreciated!
