Just wondered if anybody has seen this yet, and if so whats the general thoughts...
Not got a fire stick, and don't fancy paying @£80 / year to watch the programme...

I watched it last night and it was alright but £80 plus a fire stick I'm not sure if its value for money.

Get Kodi and stream it off your PC/laptop.

You do not need a stick, just Prime. I think it is worth every penny, but then i order quite a bit from them, the free next day delivery, even on weekends is great and loads of films/tv/music

I did quite like the show, nice to see them back, much better than the new Topgear

There banter is good but the content was about 6months late. Chris Harris's video with Tiff and Mario was better imo.

Amazon Prime was available for 50 quid for the year yesterday...

I do think it's worth it as I order a fair bit from Amazon and quite like their services.

A friend of mine was in that video and helped make it (and drive the cars). I'm not jealous in the slightest! He also looks after Chris Harris's car collection.

I was gifted my dad's old fire stick as he upgraded to the box so I get prime for free but I would have purchased it st to see GT.

Jealous doesn't quite cover it.

The coming episodes should be good, I just felt that ship had sailed regarding those 3.

What are your thoughts of the GT after the 3 episodes now?

Some of it is okay and other bits are well crap/boring imo.

My thoughts on GT? Overall poor with a couple of half-decent features. Given the budget, locations and high production values I hope it finds its feet quickly as it's all very flat and "meh" at the moment.

I was meaning the group but yeah I'm finding it rather poor as well. I'm so glad I didn't buy prime just to watch it!

I'm a little surprised that anyone would think it would be anything more than a bit "meh" considering the program was a busted flush long before the end at the BBC. Changing the channel and throwing a load of cash at it is not going to change the fact that the general format of the show has past it's sell by date.

Very true, I thought it might be similar to the old specials they did but sadly they've went further the other way with it.
I still see people raving about it but it's poor, it makes top gear look good!

Perhaps I was hoping for too much. I was hoping for a refresh of the format (rather than churning out more of the same) hence I am disappointed, thus "meh" :) I can't help but feel it's a missed opportunity. Perhaps, had the GT not leeched half the original Top Gear production team and writers, things would have been different.
