Stray wire

Hi all I have a stray wire coming out on the near side. Can't seem to find where it's supposed to go? Thought it might be the bonnet alarm switch as it started making a long beep after changing the headlamp but I'm not sure.

Any help appreciated.

Funnily enough I have this issue too right now. I have just ordered a secondhand switch from ebay - there are two types - the one with a round base doesn't work with this grey clip. Fingers crossed it sorts the issue. Cheers.
