Anyone changed their steering wheel for a more suitable one? The one thing I think that detracts from the nature of the car is the steering wheel, is there any options for changing it and is it easy to do without any negative implications.

No, it's not a Gucci 'M' Tech style steering wheel but IMHO it matches in colour other parts of the dash, looks pretty good and it is more importantly original.......

There are now less than 500 Original Trophys left so if you do change it keep the 'original' one coz I bet thats what the next owner will want.......

Keep us posted if you find one....with an airbag !

Oh well it was worth a try. I asked because I have very big hands and find it hard to use the wheel because of that. Also have trouble doing the walshy steering technique with such a wheel.

I've always fancied the steering wheel from the 197/225. Would that go in okay? How much is it likely to cost?

i have no idea, but it won't be cheap as you'll be needing the airbag too
