Hi guys - Not sure where to put this, but thought I would share a few of my latest jobs with you all
A friend of mine has seen a bit of my work on a few cars and asked if I could give his car a going over, and was arranged for this week. Ended up carrying out the process inside a Mercedes main dealership due to some delays, and it made more sense to do it all there.
The car was generally in very good condition, but a few panels were fading and badly swirled, others were very good with minor swirls and some bad scratches - Either way, the challenge was to correct the entire car to the best possible.
Process
21 Step wash process
Clayed using Bilthamber regular
Dried using waffleweave drying towels etc
Correction
Menzurna 3.02 on Yellow Hexilogic pad
Menzurna 3.02 on Green Hexilogic pad
P085 Final Finish on Black Hexilogic pad
Finishing Touches
Poorboys BlackHole
DODO JUICE (Thanks Kev!) Supernatural x2
Endurance Tyre dressing
Exhausts polished
AeroSpace 303 on plastics etc
Think thats about it!
Pictures do the talking
On Arrival

Straight in there

Rinsed off, to leave................

Yep, somehow in the time it took me to get some more stuff from my car, a mechanic was 'cleaning' an undertray covered in oil, and sprayed ALL over the side of the car
Grilles etc APC'd

Clay from lower half of the car

And the whole lot

After a full 2bm wash again, rinsed and dried to leave

Pulled inside to finish drying

Gilles removed for easier polishing

Paint Depth - Highest being

Lowest

Imperfection spotting

All taped up

Test section

This photo showing exactly the final finish with no imperfections

Half the bonnet corrected

3/4 Done

All finished

Working my way round, finding the paint harder and harder at this point
Corrected paint

And another

Nasty scratches on rear quarter before

And after

Nasty scratch on the boot - Wet sanding maybe?

Little low for my likings so it was corrected as best possible and carried on

Boot complete

Bonnet complete

Grilles drenched in 303 - No aggitating, no rubbing, just leave it :thumb:

Nasty scratches on boot

And some more

Moving onto the lights, for some reason very hard compared to other lights ive done

Onto the bumper
Before

After

All polishing done

Tyres dressed

Interior quickly gone over

Finished Shots
