Seat swap

Can the OEM recaros be swapped driver to passenger as they look like identical seats.

The idea behind this is the passenger seat is pretty much new whilst the drivers seat has had a few miles of wear in it.

If so,can anyone help with a how to guide?

Hello, the recline button would be on the wrong side but other than that I think it would be fine.
It’s 4 bolts for each seat - think it’s a deep 17mm socket underneath the car in between the exhaust tunnel from memory.

I am going to take the seats out of my 172 this week, so will take some pics for you.

As the floor is not flat, the seat runners are handed, so you will need to swap them over from one seat to the other.

Sorry and you will need to swap the seat runners as well.
