Welcome to the sale of my FF Renault Sport Clio 182 in Black Gold. I am a genuine enthusiast and have owned several 172 & 182’s over the past 5 years. I have been tempted to move on to a 200 for a while now and have the opportunity to purchase one with the spec I have been looking for. I am therefore selling this car and my 182 Trophy to do so, as I lack the space to have them all!
I have spent time getting this car as original as possible. I sourced an original very good condition exhaust, which has just been fitted with new clamps etc. It still has a genuine splitter to the front, and everything else is original apart from washer blanks to the front and an aftermarket head unit (the originals are included in the sale). Tyres are Goodyear & Bridgestone with good tread all round.
The car is on 85k miles and has had 6 previous owners. The Mot is valid until March 2020; and the belts were last done in 2015 at 60k miles. The car drives faultlessly and it has a large folder of history including past MOT’s.
These cars are now over 14 years old and as such it does have a few age-related marks. The wheels are in need of refurbishment otherwise nothing particularly notable, just the odd door ding and chip here and there in keeping with its age.
Overall this really is a very good original car which has been well maintained over the years. If you are familiar with these cars you will know just how brilliant they are. I have noticed prices have started to rise for original cars and think now is the time to be purchasing one. I have gone from a BMW M3 Competition to an i8 to now a Ferrari in the last 6 months as my daily car; but I have always had a Clio 182 which speaks volumes.
The car is located by Stansted Airport on the Hertfordshire and Essex border. I am home most of the time so can be flexible for viewings. Any questions please do ask. I also have a lot of spare parts for these cars, some of which could be included by negotiation.
