Recaro trendlines lowering the seat

Hi all, just bought a Clio trophy today ...

So I am going to sell my 182 ff in due course however whilst driving the car today I found the recaros are great but I have found that they Make you sit quite high up which is no doubt the standard sub frames. Has anyone managed to find a way of lowering the seat using different sub frames or another option? Many thanks Pete

You can take the unbolt the seats and remove the spacers under the seat rail. The use some washers and bolt back up. Drops the seat other 5mm or so.

I fitted the jon Fonz seat frames, makes them a bit lower, nothing amazing though. Think it will always feel high up

I also fitted a set of Jon Foz lowering frames and personally I think the difference is significant, but that's coming from a fairly dire starting point. They're a fantastic mod but after 5 years ownership the change will be much more pronounced than a few weeks/months.
