Ive had this problem for a while-When its wet and my flatmate is in the passenger seat, the xenons often switch on/off intermittently, and this morning they switched off completely leaving me with only fog lights.

Any ideas what might me causing this,or where exaclty to look for the fault? It only happens when hes in the car and when its wet, everyone else who sits in the seat is ok. Oh and hes about 16stone, so that might have something to do something with it?
Thanks

Think you answered your own question mate, something to do with the weight in the passange seat and water leaking in somewhere, check under the seat for wiring.
Also could be something to do with the automatic headlight sensor, try switching the auto function off when he is in the car or when it raining and see whet happens, i can remember exactly how to do it, i think you turn the lights on and off 3 or 5 times, you will hear a beep and the auto light will be disabled, think it tells you in the manual how to do it.

If this doesnt work then deffo sounds like a wiring issue.
