Hi

Was considering selling my beloved trophy and was wondering on how to price it.

She has just over 43K, full MOT, full service history and all work carried out at local Renault specialist so all genuine Renault parts, no modification from original spec. no dents or dings and only one minor scratch in paintwork I can notice. only 1 small chip in bonnet.

I am the second owner of this car and have had her for about 8 years, I will hate to not see her again but my wife informs me I need a change:(.

Any opinions ?

Cheers

When were the belts changed (date and mileage) and have the Sachs ever been refurbished or are they working perfectly and always have?

I would have to look up the mileage for belt change (I have all the receipts for work done)
Never had any problems with sachs and I assume the garage would had told me if work was needed done as they have never been shy in telling me what needs done.

She's been nagging me for years to sell it because I don't let her touch it and I spend so much on it.
To be honest I'm hard pushed to sell her (not the wife:p) but I think I need something we can both drive with some gadgets.

Nice looking Trophy that one! I'd keep it if there's anyway you can. You could lease a car for about.£120 and keep the Trophy for yourself.

Hi

Just joined the forum as I am looking to purchase a Trophy. I would be very interested in yours and would look after it superbly as I want to keep it. Any thoughts on a price?

Happy to chat on the phone also

Congratulations, Nice looking car. Your location will either count for you or against you.

If i had still been in the market i would have swung past on the way to Skye this summer.

As others have mentioned the cambelt is coming up for a change on 19th July. Either do it yourself or adjust the price. Depending on where your getting it done. I personnaly would rather buy a car with a "not done" adjusted price and then spend the difference myself getting it done where I trusted to do it correctly.

Again i would do some reading on how to check the sachs out yourself. Will save you getting into a debate with a buyer regarding an extar £XXX pounds off as the're claiming the sachs are needing refurbed.

I would take the lady on a holiday and keep the car ;)

Cheers mate, had quite a lot of interest in her. I'm gonna sell her as is, as you say let buyer make changes with someone they trust.
