... now I got your attention...

That nearly made me fall off my chair - I spoke to a new guy (supplier) who I'd left specific details of the tyres I wanted. Make, model, size, rubber compound... you name it.

Two days later he calls me, the Conversation just went like this.

" I can get those tyres you want for £50 each"

Me: "Blimey, are you sure they're the right ones...... I'll have 10!"

'Tyre specialist': "yes, just what you wanted. 205, 45, 16's"

Me: "are you sure these are Michelin Exalto's PE's and are you sure they're 16"? I know you said you'll beat any price but that's ridiculously cheap"

Specialist: "No, they're uniroyals.... "

Plank!

Me: "I said Michelin Exalto PE's. They do two, a w and a v rated tyre. I specifically stated a v rated PE2!"

Specialist: "Oh right, leave it with me" [-o<

Wait for him to come back and say £100 each or something and he recommends the uniroyal pieces or excrement....

People must get so used to dealing with numpties....... I now see how reno get away with shite customer service.

Yeah, I think that title was for the sake of Spitfire and me. Cheers Cue! :D I'd rather buy 2 expensive tyres than have to try 4 of a different brand at the moment though.
