Am going to be buying an induction kit/anel filter and just wanted some opinions.

Have had a normal pipercross cone filter in the past and the car felt like it lost power. Have also had a pipercross viper on my old pug 106gti which sounded very nice but didnt notice any power gains however small so didnt want to part with over 200 readies when it wouldnt make much difference so am thinking about an ITG panel filter. Will a panel filter make the car sound any different like an induction kit ? and is this the right one to get over an induction kit ?

cheers in advance for any info

an itg with a CAF would be the cheapest and best option, other than that a BMC-CDA or Maxogen with CAF. But that's £200-300 more.

spend your money on better brake pads is my advice.

the 172/182 does not take to well with induction mods imho, unless you have a custom map to match.

Yeah save money for brakes - I have an itg panel filter and noticed no difference at all. Remap big differrence plus exhaust.

I am going to get a red samco hose but just cos I like it!
