omp strut brace!!!!!!!!

hi folks,

have just taken delivery of a omp strut brace for the trophy. only problem being is that it needs to be fixed with self tapping screws :? . what do you think? should i bolt them on or not bother at all. seems abit micky mouse to me. anybody fitted one of these. any ideas or suggestions. thanks

Ye just go ahead and screw the 'self tappers' in !

Make sure you line it up properly tho..

I have thought about one of these and I think there are other threads discussing this, but what rigidity can something held in place with self tappers add ?. Just my thoughts.

Would it not be better drilling and bolting it on with some 6mm nuts and bolts ? Thats what id be tempted to do.
