Oil indicator

Hi all,

On my clio182 when I start the car it shows oil ok but on my 182 trophy it just goes straight to the mileage. I have made sure the cruise control is in the middle position and reset the trip computer but no joy.

The oil level of the car is all fine so no issues oil wise.

Anyone else had similar problems and found a cure?

How reliable is the OBC anyway? Doesn't it only warn you when it's too late, therefore dipstick is the only feasible option?

Press the black button on the gauge when oil ok appears, think it shows you the level

Please don't rely purely on the oil level indicator on the dashboard display; I found it to be very inaccurate.

Thanks all. Don't worry I regularly check my oil level just wanted to see if anyone had similar problems and managed to solve it! Cheers pete
