Went for this in the end over the Eibach tubing and will have a go at fitting tomorrow as need to replace top mount bearings.

Yes rear same as cup...

The 12.5mm tubing fits like a glove and with some boiling water and oil it slid onto the spring relatively easily.

Wondering if anyone has a spare spring with little to no corrosion mainly on the bottom few coils? Happy to pay a price with postage if anyone does. My NS spring was rather coorroded and could not feed the tubing around easily.

That tubing is spot on, cheers.

I bought 1M of it and when cut in half theres enough to go around 1 1/2 coils of the spring which is about right.

I used airline oil to get them on otherwise they wouldn't be going anywhere.

Yes they are .. This thread was started way before the picture with the red springs tho.. It's more about the OEM tubing used to prevent coil binding ( Knocking )

Phew - I could only buy one spring today since it is the last one in the country and in Renault.... :/

God knows how long the other one will take to arrive.

Yes, I didn't mean to cause any confusion. The springs above are the Mark Fish type. I'm pretty sure the diameter of the steel is the same as OEM, I'll confirm this next week.

The rubber tubing used above is thinner than what was originally fitted but hopefully it will stay intact, time will tell.

Yes please can you confirm diameter cause looking at the picture they look just like eibach sportline with one coil cut-off. Have you had a chance to compare?

Good day all and greetings from Greece.
I own a Clio Sport 182 (non cup) and i am looking for springs.
Unfortunately is soo difficult to find part nos for rear/front springs.
I focused only to OEM.
Any help on that??

I would advise to use eibach 182 prokit. For close to original spec at the fraction of the cost.

I got this 'babe' a year and now i start doing my research.
I am afraid not to loose a. the 'graduality' (if i can say) of the chasis and b.since i am using it in Athens with bad roads-not to loose too much comfort.
Maybe Eibach is a solution however i'd like to check if OEM springs exist in the market.
Also from your experience do you know if Trophy's shocks can be used on mine?
I am sure that the Cup shocks cannot be used since my strut is different from the Cup model.

Non cup.. no you cannot use trophy shocks. Non cup has 54mm bolt spacing. Cup/Trophy has 60mm.

You could perhaps try and slot the two bolt hole a bit . But you would want a trophy shock and a non cup shock side by side first to see what differences it may make to the suspension angles. It might be that it’s the bottom hole which needs slotting. Or it maybe the whole assembly has more differences.

I would stick with eibach prokit for softer ride they also do the more extreme sportline.

Oem exists but Renault charge around £100 a spring new.. so that £400 when a set of eibach come in under £200

I had a look to Eibach prokit and my problem is that a.will lower the car by 30mm, but most important b.the car will be maybe much stiffer.
In the RPD they sell OEM spring for 50quid (is it new?)
Unfortunately Renault sport fans in Greece are not so many as in UK...

Yes RPD is all new parts.

it looks like none cup rears are £50 each but fronts are £200 each...

that's £500 for the set. which is madness.
