OBD Maxiscan reader

Hello

well i am new to these things, but went out and got one, so that i could turn the EML off, due it it keep flagging up with Cat emissions. When i plug it in, all is well, I can read the code faults, but can not remove them, it just says failed. I make sure the ignition is on, but the engine off, but does not work. Am i expecting to much from it, or am i doing something noobish?

Is it a genuine autel Mike or one of the many Chinese copies. Some of them are junk but admittedly a lot do the job ok.

ermmm, will have to have a look Sun if i remember. was an ebay one, so might be junk lol

I got a wifi obd plug and a app on my phone that worked well. Also had real time data display as well.
