I thought the same. Can't understand why the dampers were done but old springs fitted back on. They look original condition

Guess they were not being that keen on a full refurb of everything, if the springs were working no point in replacing

So I guess springs begin to look tired but how much does age and use affect performance?

Depends on the quality i guess, and hard to say how many miles they have seen, could have sat around a lot. Dont get me wrong though i would of replaced them, so it all looks sexy and shiney
