2005 RENAULTSPORT CLIO 182 TROPHY

After 10 years of ownership, it is finally time to sell my 2005 Renault Clio 182 Trophy, No:319 of 500 made. As you will see from the annual mileage on the Mots I simply don’t use the car and this is my reason for sale.

With Just over 67k miles on the clock and 6 former keepers my Clio trophy 182 is in really good original condition.

As you would expect from the pinnacle of the Renaultsport Clio 182 range, the Trophy model is equipped with:

Sachs front dampers

heavily-bolstered Recaro front seats

lightweight 16-inch alloy wheels

rear spoiler

While it is almost entirely standard and unmodified, this example’s performance and soundtrack have been enhanced with the addition of a straight cut Janspeed back box exhaust and Forge induction kit. Original induction kit can be included in the sale at no extra cost upon request.

The car will be accompanied by its original handbooks and service book, as well as its factory tool kit, one key and every MOT test certificate available in folder and or on-line.

CONDITION

The Capsicum Red paintwork is thought to be entirely original and is in good overall condition but does have a small patch of lacquer peel as shown in the pictures.
As you can expect from a 20 year old hot hatch it does have a few minor stone chips on the front bumper and bonnet that is in line with the car’s age and mileage.
As for the interior it is in great overall condition, all buttons and switches work and the Air conditioning blows cool. I had the steering wheel refurbished in resent years and the Alloy wheels fully refurbished professionally in original paint code in 2024.
Feel free to check out the MOT history on-line with the DVLA. You will fine from my ownership in 2015 this Clio has passed every MOT with zero advisories.
If I had the time to make this future classic perfect I would look into a few things. I would look into tidying up the front bumper and tackling the two small spots of lacquer peel.

SUMMARY

This vehicle would be a dream for a clio trophy enthusiaist who likes to have a little tinger on the weekend. This lowish mileage example is not perfect but with very little work, could be an A1 investment example.

To drive this vehicle is spot on with a presentable interior and a engine bay you could eat your dinner off.

The price will reflect the condition of the car.

If you have genuine interest, please feel free to message me with any questions. More pictures coming soon
