New Trophy owner, sort of...

Here's an odd thing, I'm picking my Trophy up on Friday now, but my other half picked the post up today, and I have a V5 from the DVLA for the Trophy with my personal plate on it! I've only paid the deposit so far, tempting... :twisted:

Has this happened to anyone else? (I was originally going to pick the car up last week, but had been advised it hadn't been taxed yet)

PS, do I get my owners star 2 days early?

Why are you waiting a week for the dealer to tax it :?

Dealers really take the piss sometimes - a quick visit to the post office, 10 minutes max and they could do it!

I'd be asking for some free mats lol

I guess they registered it fairly early then, so theres been time for the V5 to come through.

Mine came through a couple of weeks after i got the car, but then it was only delivered and then registered 2 days before i took delivery.

Sadly I'm training someone at work and can't get over to pick up until Friday

Also, the stealers don't do delivery on the weekend as they're "so busy" as a matter of company policy. Bet they sell a lot of Meganes 4 weeks before Christmas :^o
