There's 15 years of crud & sweat built up on that steering wheel rim.

If you spend an hour with a washing up sponge scourer, some multi purpose surface cleaner & 6 buckets of water, it will regain its original finish.

Wouldn’t a scourer be a bit corse for the job and scuff it up?

Wouldn’t a scourer be a bit coarse for the job and scuff it up?

I used a non scratch polymer based pad that had a bit of use, not a metal scourer.

I`ll post a pic of the result tomorrow.

On reflection, maybe not, but it is pleasant to touch & use again, despite it`s 19 years age & 158k mileage.

When purchased at 90k, it was described as steering wheel melt.

More like track day pickup.
