Very nice Simon.

Did it take much effort polishing the engine (visible bits that poke through the cover) ?. Might have a go at mine if it doesn't involve too much elbow grease

Nice, is it the cup or the normal 172? I didn't think they did the 172 in this shape..... you learn something new everyday...

the polishing was done by a firend on an industrial polisher.. but many of people have done it with a dremel on cliosport.net and got some good results.

its the normal 172. soon to be woth Cup packs lol

its got at the moment.

The batter cover was off ebay, not to everyones taste but i love it lol

Nice 8) ! Put the 172 cup's alloys on and it will look even better. I like the polished battery cover, it goes well with the polished manifold.
