Hi all, hope you are well.
This is a post that I really don't want to make but, following on from recent events, I am trying to get in touch with a couple of people regarding "missing" Sachs dampers. I will explain more in a moment, but the reason I am reaching out here is because I am trying to connect with those people who had contacted me via social media channels. Unfortunately, I no longer have their details nor can I remember them (my bad).
Ultimately, I find myself in a bit of a predicament. I sent my Sachs dampers off to be refurbished back in 2018 and I still haven't got them back. I have also been approached by the two people I mention, who are in the same boat having sent them to the same guy for refurbishment. I have been in contact with the guy and he has stated on a couple of occasions that he would return my dampers, which have not been refurbed. I contacted him back in April. I don't really mind that they haven't been refurbished, but I would like them back (as would the guys that contacted me no doubt).
I don't want this to turn into a blame/hate discussion but would like to get in touch with those who are also blocked/unable to get their Sachs back (to see if they had had any luck).
