Can anyone recommend a current solution - I know John Frayz(?) used to manufacture his own but I cannot find a set for sale.

As well all know it's an Achilles heel of the car I really want to solve, without the need for harnesses etc

Thanks in advance

The black washers under the seat fixings can be removed, it only drops them a little bit but does improve things a little in my experience.

I think Jon Foz still supplies lowered frames for a number of seats, worth asking on Cliosport.net or one of the Faceache groups?

Thanks Ed, I believe my car may have them removed as it's already quite difficult to slide the seats back and forth. Agree with the faceache comments, might have to brave it!!

I believe Foz has just announced (recently) that he has a fresh batch made up and for sale. Sadly, I can't find the flippin' link or remember where I read it!

I’ve got them to and as said before they transfer the car. Here are 2 pictures show the JF and standard seat mounts both in their furthest back and down positions so you can see the difference.
