Hi Guys,

I've had a long and varied car history owning everything from RS4's, through to Tommi Mak Evos, M3's and back to more modest cars like honda S2000/DC5's etc

I am now looking to try a Trophy as I've heard so many good things about them and their ability to hold their own in much more exotic company.

Im after a low to very low mileage example. One with excellent service history, provenance, low owners and in excellent condition (recent damper refurb etc would be a big plus). Im really after an immaculate car, backed up with sound documentation and history!

I have a very healthy budget and as mentioned in the title thread I have cash waiting right now for a quick purchase. I am not one to mess about. If the right car comes up I will be happy to proceed with the sale.

If your Clio fits the bill please let me know if you are interested in selling or if you know someone who may consider parting with their Trophy.

Many thanks for taking the time to consider my post. I look forward to joining the Trophy community soon

PS: Im not sure if its ok to post my mobile directly to the thread but my number is 00447979991050 if anyone would prefer to contact me directly.

Hi Stefan, welcome aboard :)

I think you may have to be patient if you are looking for an immaculate and very low mileage example! Those that are mint and low mileage don't come up for sale very often (they tend to be the more cherished examples rather than those that get used and abused). But you never know who's watching / listening... Good luck!

Hi Sharkey, thank you for your reply.

I know these are rare little cars and good ones, as with any marque and limited edition model, always take a little longer to come to market at times. I'm happy to wait until the right one comes.

Though that's not to say I'll not consider other cars which are very good.

I would really be after a sub 60,000 mile car. Preferably much lower miles than this, though I won't discount ones that have been really really well looked after which hover at slightly higher miles.

I've a budget up to £20k though of course I'd be hoping to spend a fair bit less than this to secure the right car.

Thanks for the post mate. Yes that's the budget I'm working with. Obviously if I can pick one up that ticks all the boxes for £8-10k I'll be more than happy.

If anyone knows anyone who might be willing to part with theirs let me know. Cheers everyone for all the responses so far!

And due to the number of low mileage low onwer one's round you may have to compromise on something.

As an owner of a one owner from new, 43K miles, original spec., specialist serviced, accident free, Trophy I'm interested to see prices like £8-£10k suggested as there's no way on earth I'd part with mine for that amount. With so few such vehicles it doesn't really matter what "the market" for higher mileage vehicles is IMHO, it's down to each particular owners' circumstances.

Talk to me...

Any interest in parting?

Ben (the guy on Facebook) has the Trophy in his collection and has no intention of selling I'm afraid... :)

I would be surprised as there is a lot of interest in trophy's at the minute! Appreciate a low mileage one is appealing but unless you are planning on sticking it in a glass box for the rest of its life then you can pick up a higher mileage one that has had just as good care as a hardly used one! And then tidy up and restore as appropriate.

Thanks

OK then, I'd be willing to broaden my search to a higher mileage clio which has been fastidiously maintained/looked after.

It appears that most have already had deposits placed or reserved for sale mate
