Little help with Home cinema systems

Since moving in to my new home, I brought everything from my room (tv, ps3, surround sound etc...)

But since the surround system I have is nearly 4 years old and one speaker has died I have been looking to either upgrade all the speakers or changing the whole system....

Looking to spend around £500

Looking for the really good one (bose, harman kardon etc..) but unsure to either go for just a receiver and speakers as I can use the PS3 for Blue Ray,

For the money you want to spend I would look into a package deal on a surround speaker kit and spend the rest on a amp ( not receiver ) I would suggest going into richer sounds 1st.
Or maybe look on eBay or better still the "AV FORUMS" forum, they have a great classified section, and you usually end up buying of genuine enthusiast who know the kit and have looked it.

Managed to find a good deal -

Onkyo TXS-308
Jamo A102 Speakers
and all the cables I need thrown in!

Cheaper than £500 anyway!! and it was with a really good company on the tinterweb
