Hi,
Any advice will be much appreciated. Basically my key fob battery was dead so car was unlocked, just put the correct battery in and it locks all fine but sometimes it makes constant noise or the alarm goes off less than a minute after locking.
I’ve looked online and tried a few resets including the battery but still doing the same thing. Has anyone had the same issue or know How to correct this.
Thanks
Stewart

It could be one of the sensors that is playing up, my one was the bonnet switch which had pushed downwards when closing the bonnet. I just pushed it back up into the slam panel and it's been fine ever since.

I had exactly this same issue Stewart, when i locked the car there was a constant beep, i tracked it down to a faulty bonnet switch in the slam panel, swapped it out for new and problem solved! Link below:

I have heard that. I will check that out, it’s strange because sometimes it’s a constant beep or the alarm noise but either way with the new battery in the key fob it happens unlocked or locked every time. The one thing I don’t understand is why the immobiliser goes of and starts fine with no battery in the key fob and no alarm but as you know you can’t lock these cars by the key so it’s really uncomfortable leaving it unlocked. Thanks for the link 👌
