I've done everything on the car now apart from tidy it up under the arches. I've had the car about a year now but not used it for about 6 months so I thought I'd roll it out the garage, whip the wheels off and give the arches, struts etc a bit of attention. Also I've got a couple of sets of wheels so I'm going to get them all refurbed at once and put a set on the car.

I usually prefer to spray them rather than brush paint but I'm not rushing into anything.

As an aside, it was only when I took the wheels off I found it had goodridge braided hoses on it !

They are an interesting comparison. The 200 is a more comfortable place to be with the later recaros, it has the cup suspension but ride wise there feels little difference. Handling, the Trophy feels just that bit tauter on the front and possibly a bit more capable of picking a line and holding it, very similar to the Elise in that respect.
Whether it is because it is only 5 speed I'm not sure but the Trophy feels a bit more torquey through the gears as if you don't have to work the engine as hard.
In all though not much to pick between them.
My 200 has done less than 20k, the Trophy has done 70k, although body and paint wise the Trophy is perfect now probably if I had to let one go it would be the Trophy, mainly because I love the look and colour of the Alien Green car and being low miles it still smells new when I open the door!! I've owned the Elise SC from brand new and that's not done 10k yet but I will keep it until I'm too infirm to climb in and out !!!

Oh I'm always buying something albeit there isn't anything at the moment that really takes my fancy. I do enjoy getting a bit older car and going right through it bringing up to my standard. The Trophy is just about there now

Yea love old stuff myself just sold my Peugeot 309 gti and the classic insurance is always a bonus. I think the trophy is the newest car I've owned for years lol.
I was just wondering has the Michelin exalto tyres the trophy comes with been replaced by the pilot sport 3's ?

PS3's are the closest match you can get to the exalto's as these are no longer made and getting on now. Cant be may Trophies still running exaltos now, got a full set of PS3's on mine.
