nerly crashed the trophy the other day because my foot slipped off the clutch.

which made me think are the pedals on our cars legal?

i always thought the clutch and brake pedals should have some sort of rubber grips in them to prevent this??

anyone got any ideas?

Wouldn't have thought they're illegal, plenty of other cars have drilled metal pedals, just looking at pics of the new Civic Type R actually and sure enough, drilled metal pedals! I know what you mean though, had a couple of slip myself in mine!

I wa stold from a reliable source that you can superglue sandpaper to the pedals and get it through the MOT. as long as they are deemed to have sufficient grip.

I wear Puma driving shoes and in the wet have had a couple of nearly nasty pedal slips. I dry them thoroughly on the mat now.
