I noticed Renparts have a Trophy in being broken as a few spares appeared on ebay inc the eibachs which someone else posted the other day. Wanted a couple of bits which they are sorting for me. I asked if there Sachs were still about. As of this morning they were. The lady on the phone didnt know but the "shout across the office" quoted £500 the pair, with the suggestion that one was fine and the other was "leaking".

I'm not actually in the market but thought I would ask out of interest. I guess "if" only one needs a refurb £500 is steep but not mental, making a working set £700 plus.

I would bank on it costing more though

So if your desperate give them a bell.

Chris

And yes I did forget to ask which number it was like a tit

Most places will advise that you get them refurbed as a pair as they get dyno tested to match each other, so its more like £940 for a working set! That's if they don't need new adjusters/shafts etc

From speaking in depth to people like Ben @ BG, Nicky @ Monster & sachs themselves there is "No" way on this earth i would only get one unit done and sorted.

These must be done as a pair.

I've been tempted on a few occasions to pick up a spare set, but I just roll on cup shocks at refurb time
