After passing custody of the Trophy on a few months ago I’m back into a car with a nod to the Clio by way of the strange stalk on the right hand side of the steering column. Yes the £60k Alpine A110 has the quirky volume and channel change stalk which I could never figure out on the RS200 Clio.

Anyway heres the new motor IMG_8856.jpeg

Congrats on getting that.

Are they as good as reported?

A tremendous car. I’ve never driven anything (and I’ve owned 130+ cars since I started driving back in ‘77) that goes down a twisty road so quickly and calmly. If you get chance watch Henry Catchpole on Carfection, he sums it up far better than I ever could

Great stuff, they would be a great car to try in another few years when or if,
good old depreciation does its thing.

But so far, they seem to be nearly immune to losing money.
That probably says a lot about them, they are still held in very high regard.
