How do you remove sticker stickyness

Hey all

Just after some advice, I removed the garage sticker from my back window, I hate advertising garages! Using the old hairdryer trick.

Its come off cleanly apart from about a 2 inch square bit of glue.

Whats the best way to remove this? Its also on the heated rear window.

Id have thought turps or something similar, that purple tuff. Just try not to get it on the heater strips

Window cleaner should work as well.

window cleaner (the wipe on wipe off type) or nail polish remover

Hi there autogleam do a product that specifically removes sticky residue left by stickers etc cant remember what its called exactly though but is good...

Nail polish remover will get rid of it in five seconds flat.

i use aftershave ...works every time ( pure alcohol) smells nice too

Another trick that works is using the sticky side of duck tape. Press the tape over the glue residue and pull off again - do this repeatedly and it'll all go. No messy liquids.

I used a touch of Super Resin Polish to remove mine.
