Help with my daily driver please

hi,
its a 51 plate clio 1.4 privilege. When ideling it seems to 'judder' and has very low revs. The gear stick also seems to vibrate abnormally. The car seems slower than normal ( if possible )lol, and now the engine shaped light is on full time. Its been fine an developed this after not being used for three days. I checked the oil and its just over half.
Any ideas please. Cars done approx 35k

Lambda sensor? Get it plugged into diagnostic computer, the only sure way to tell really.

cheers, ill have to take it to a garage me thinks. Its typical as just MOTd and taxed the t after 10 months sorn!

Quite likely to be a pencil coil I'd imagine.

I second that. misfire caused by failed coil pack. buy 4 new ones as the other are sure to follow.

I'd say coil pack as well. Sell them by the bucket loads at work for the Clio II's.

might be an idea to top up the oil if there is 0.5L missing?

do you normally look at the dipstick and think half is ok? lol

i think the max-min mark is equivalent to 1L, but still, nice to keep it topped up!!!
as one day you may forget to check it, and may end up far too low then causing some damage.

all fixed and well again now. Prizes given for those that said coil packs, lol.
