Help on bumper

hi Guys n Girls,

recently I have been hit up the back while stationary and they damaged the rear bumper
took it to the garage to get repaired and they didn't do a good job so its going back in, one of the issues is there is a gap at each end of the black slip (as in the pic below)

just so i can show them (as I remember there being no gap) can anyone put a close up pic of there's.

Tell them to shrink bumper or enlarge the bumper insert strip...
