If the Ghostbusters started a sideline in litter/leaf clearing, they would be strapping
one of those on.
I've got to admit, reading this thread, its the first time I've ever seen someone using
something like a leaf blower to dry a car, I've learned something new this evening
I thought I was doing fairly alright with the few (and now old) drying towels
Also, re washing the towels in lower temps, good tips there @SharkyUK.
The blower is great for the wheels and getting water out of jambs and tight places. It's even more useful on my Porsche as it gets excess water out of the aero, nooks, and crannies! I just use a drying towel and detailing spray to mop up any left over water. I also use a filtered water system when it's exceptionally warm/hot in order to avoid water spots.
The blowers are pretty good and help avoid micro scratches that arise from any form of contact. It sounds ridiculous, but any sort of contact results in micro-scratches - even with a top quality drying towel. That's why you should never use pressure and minimise contact; let the towel and products do the job they were designed for!

Mind you, it helps having a self-healing PPF and PPF-friendly ceramic coatings! On the Porsche, not the Trophy... that needs a respray first!
EDIT: Who ya gonna call?!?!
