I found their Top 5 as listed in today's issue strange to say the least. I know they wanted a representative of an old school hot hatch in the final Top 5 test but to include a 205 GTi when plenty of others over the years have put both the Clio Williams and Clio 182 Trophy ahead of it was bizarre. Spoiler alert -- ! And then to say the current shape Golf GTi is the best Hot of all time. LOL. A good all rounder for sure but expensive and mediocre reliability and DULL looks and average performance and power does not make the best ever.
The 182 Trophy was 6th btw.
Oh and the first RS Focus in 4th - a car that when new most road tester said was fatally flawed with a dreadful chassis and torque steer to change sides of the road. shouldn't even be in the Top 20

Yes I spotted the magazine at car dealer yesterday. A bit strange to publish a top 30 in the magazine and then get people to vote after :grimacing:

And why if your going to stick the trophy-r in. Then slag it off for having no back seats. If hottach requierments are back seast then dont included it.

I think the published version is based on their opinions and the votes we are doing go towards a readers' choice.
