Is anybody or has anybody changed either the gear knob (for a nice polished metal one) or put a decent leather gaiter on the hand brake?

Or are you all happy / not changing anything to keep the car in original condition?

Is it possible to change the gear knob keeping the original intact so it could be put back on?

Thoughts please.........

I've thought about changing the gear knob but never got round to it.
If its anything like my missus old clio it was stuck on with glue.

ive got an nice gun metal one on mine. Its a richbrook one

Any pics?

Have looked at 'Richbrook' ones on the internet but am unsure whether to go with full round aluminium ball / bit of material on it and numbers engraved OR go for the right angled triangle shape etc etc
