98’ R reg face lifted E39 540Ci auto with every conceivable optional extra including; TV, roof mounted DVD, inbuilt child booster seats, fully electric, lumbar support & heated front seats, inbuilt ski holder bag, 6 CD changer, AC Schnitzer mirrors and exhaust, climate control, electric reach & rake adjustment steering wheel, pre heater and stay warm a/c function (useful during winter & summer), ‘guide me home’ stay on lights, auto dimming rear view mirror, auto wipers, headlamp washers and cruise control. That’s just the ones I can remember. To top it all everything works 8)
Mechanically this is a fine example – no expense spared, although the body work is showing signs of it’s age, with the usual stone chips and minor scratches. Last service was the top service 2 and has 12 months MOT with tax until Jan ‘12. Two brand-new front tyres, the rears have seen less than 2k miles. I also replaced the whole cooling system 12 months ago, as these are the weak link in what is a bulletproof engine. It hasn’t let me down once and I’m only selling, as I’ve hunkering for a 4x4. It’s a beautiful mile cruncher and I’ll be sorry to see this gem go, I hope it finds a good home. :-({|=
