In trying to find and cure an exhaust vibrate / rattle I have decided to replace and repair anything to the exhaust system and associated brackets and joints.

I decided to go for the upgraded cat to manifold bolt and fittings along with a new 'donut' gasket from my local factors.

Pictures show the results and I was amazed at how clean everything looks.

Next job is to fit the Evol dogbone and put on new spring washer fixings on the hestshields when they arrive.

Also noticed how bad the condition of the battery tray was so that's also next on my list.

Did the gearbox upper mount this morning and that was a doddle, the Evol racing mount is on and the car is transformed.

Given mine is a daily driver I'm going to run it for a while but likely I'll just powerflex the original dogbone as it makes the car a little too 'drony'.
