What do people do in regards to the standard exhausts these days?
Am I correct in thinking a standard, or even a standard copy isn't available without going the stainless route?
I don't want anything noisy or OTT, just ideally something that's as quiet and as close to standard if atall possible.

Any recommendations or suggestions from what you guys (and possibly gals) have found upon your travels?

Ta :)

Standard is still available from Renault I believe, but expect to pay a 4-figure sum.

People tend to get rid of the standard exhausts... :tongueout: They are heavy, and can fall apart with a bit of abuse! I would recommend a custom full stainless steel with high-flow sports cat - e.g. like something ProSpeed in Cardiff would make.

Oh, I have for sale a ProSpeed full stainless steel system with high-flow sports cat... (although I already have people interested)

Mmmm, maybe previous de-catted TVR's and a naughty exhaust on current Exige have skewed my perception of "not too loud".
Or I'm going deaf because of them...........:grinning:

I had great service from Pro-Speed this year on the RS133, definitely come highly recommended. I also loved the PMS system I had on my trophy.

Lots of choices here my preference is a rs192 quiet on the road but a nice sound when driving fast. I currently have a scorpion exhaust on my trophy and again sounds nice but normal noise on tick over is louder

I already have the Ktec Ultra system on my other Trophy.
Just picked the new one up yesterday and it was blowing a little... nothing major and an easy fix but it did get my mind pondering.

I have a good friend who is a local and highly recommended specialist/custom exhaust fabricator anyhow, so having a customer item made is easy.
I just hoped something standard or along those lines was still available.

I believe the current system on the car is Janspeed but even around the mild blownit sounded too droney for a standard car.
