FOR SALE:

Hi all. As a distraction from the tedium of completing this years tax return, I’ve found myself sorting a few magazines… I have quite a few duplicates of EVO magazines with TROPHY content.
I will post up a couple of pics below. Prices vary on each copy & condition (they’re all very,very good in this regard to be fair).
If any of them are of interest & you’d like to add them to your collection / Trophy history file, just drop me a message.
If I have time I will create a full inventory & price list.. just to also note. The issues 83, 87 & 315 are all spoken for already.

Brings back great memories...I remember Harry Metcalfe ringing me at the Press Office to tell me the Trophy had won the "reasonably" priced car test beating the M3 CS into 2nd place so could he book one for the main group test in the South of France.
Then he rang from France very excited to say the Trophy finished on the podium in 3rd ahead of the Gallardo and he was so impressed he wanted to buy the Press car, which of course we know he did.
There was no conventional advertising budget for the Trophy, it was going to be down to PR to sell them and EVO magazine along with the Autocar front cover declaring the "World's Best Hot Hatch" went a long way to selling the 500 units with little problem.
