Electrical problems...

The ‘Stop’ and battery lights came on, but the car kept running fine. Just before I got home, the whole
Dash lit up like a Christmas tree and the lights dimmed, indicators stopped working and it cut out as I pulled up...

Anyone had anything like this before?

I’ve got access to a Renault dealer on the Isle of Man, but no specialists...

Any help much appreciated

Alternator stopped charging, battery failing, or bad earth if lucky. Check for charging voltage if you can get started, should be 13.5-14.4v

You got an odb reader handy??

Worth checking the battery voltage and cleaning up the connections..

Sounds alternator/charge related but as stated a decent tester should pinpoint where the problem lies
